Process-based values are about focusing on the journey rather than the destination. They are about accepting uncertainty and continuing to move forward. Instead of being overly concerned with achieving a specific goal, process-based values encourage us to appreciate and learn from the process of striving towards that goal. This concept is important because it helps us to deal with failure and uncertainty. When we focus on the process, we are less likely to be discouraged by setbacks and more likely to learn from them.
