What are some examples of opportunities a company might identify in a SWOT analysis?

Opportunities in a SWOT analysis are external factors that could benefit the company. These could include trends that the company could leverage, platforms or services that could be used to the company's advantage, or areas where the company could cut costs. For example, a company might identify a growing trend in the market that aligns with its strengths, or a new platform that could help it reach more customers. It could also identify areas where it could reduce costs, such as by improving efficiency or negotiating better deals with suppliers.

Question was asked on:

Strengths. What does your team do well? What has it achieved? What unique resources does it have? Weaknesses. What can be improved? What's lacking? Opportunities. Which trends, platforms or services can be used to your company's advantage? Where can you cut costs? Threats. What are some potential dangers your venture risks to encounter? What is your competition busy doing right now? And, most importantly, what threats your company's current weaknesses are exposing it to?
