The Competing Values Framework (CVF) is a model that identifies four types of organizational culture, based on different values and ways of working. These are Clan, Adhocracy, Market, and Hierarchy. Clan culture is collaborative and values cohesion, Adhocracy culture is creative and values innovation, Market culture is competitive and values achievement, and Hierarchy culture is controlled and values efficiency. The CVF impacts business culture by helping organizations understand their current culture and guiding them in shaping their desired culture. It can also help in managing change, improving performance, and achieving a balance between stability and flexibility.
