Usability test sessions play a crucial role in the Design Sprint process. They are conducted on the final day of the sprint, where the prototype is tested on real users. Observers take notes and plot insights on a table during these sessions. The results from these tests help validate or invalidate the sprint's original assumption, showing whether the proposed solution will succeed, needs improvement, or will be a complete waste of money and resources. Even if the solution fails, the process is valuable as it provides learning opportunities and prevents further time and resources being wasted on a bad idea.
